Introduction to Forecasting and SAE Modeling Workshop

This one-day workshop is conducted the day prior to the Annual Energy Forecasting Meeting. The Statistically Adjusted End-Use (SAE) model is designed for developing long-term energy and demand forecasts and entails integrating end-use information into an econometric modeling framework. The workshop covers a general overview of modeling and statistics concepts but focuses on details on the SAE modeling approach and how the framework can be used for evaluating alternative efficiency paths.
